  • Overview

    Develops, modifies and maintains off-the-shelf and/or custom code as required in support of DEFENDERS’ internal app dev framework, special projects (e.g., Data cleanup, static analysis), and 3rd-party integrations.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Designs/codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools.
    • Maintains and modifies existing applications on their own as well as under direction from senior staff members.
    • Performs maintenance programming for existing version. Performs custom programming when required.
    • Assumes responsibility for ongoing application architecture for product.
    • Works collaboratively with business and cross-functional IT departments to gather requirements, and achieve alignment.
    • Designs, tests, and implements software application to interface with existing applications and systems.
    • Troubleshoots system problems and looks for ways to improve applications.
    • Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions, including but not limited to C#, MS SQL Server, MVC Framework.
    • Follows enterprise system development life cycle.
    • Leverages standard architectures and tools to develop applications that support high levels of integration.

     

    Qualifications

    Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline 

    Minimum Years' Required: At least two years experience in the software development field, knowledge relating to the area in which analysis and coding is performed.
